The Generali Group is one of Austria’s largest insurers. Generali Versicherung AG develops and integrates software solutions for the entire group and operates its own test center to ensure the quality of all applications.
The test center of Generali Insurance AG faced the challenge of ensuring long-term software quality in a complex, highly networked system environment. Manual testing processes were time-consuming, difficult to scale, and led to high costs due to errors as the number of applications increased. Furthermore, uniform standards, tools, and a structured approach were lacking to identify risks early and manage testing efforts economically.
