Challenge

The Cineplexx Group manages its entire software landscape centrally from Vienna (website, POS, and mobile apps) – across twelve countries, in multiple languages, and with different layouts. Releases with new features and bug fixes occur approximately every two weeks and require extensive regression testing. Manual testing proved too time-consuming and prone to errors.

Solution: Implementation of Driveless

Drvless uses graphical/UI recognition and dynamically adapts to UI changes. Automated tests can be created and executed without programming knowledge. Reusable execution lists and parameters (e.g., ticket types, seating plans, devices) allow for efficient variation and repetition of test runs.
The implementation was carried out jointly with Objentis and included onboarding, training, an initial joint test case, and a customer-specific manual. Updates are deployed remotely, including clear release information.
