Together with Drvless Automation, Drvless Ideation supports the entire testing process — from test case creation and automated test execution across various end devices to the evaluation and creation of test reports.

Software testing is labour-intensive and costly: requirements documents or manuals must be analysed, and an initial exploratory test is necessary to gain an overview. A test strategy must be developed, test cases derived from it, enriched with test data and, finally, converted into a technically readable format for automation. All of this requires time and extensive expertise.

How Ideation Works

Drvless Ideation uses Large Language Model (LLM) and Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) technologies. Based on our many years of testing experience, we have compiled specific information for this tool that is required to generate test strategies, test areas, test cases, test data and more. Drvless Ideation essentially works with a guide designed by Objentis.

What Ideation Can Do

Drvless Ideation uses various sources of information, such as functional descriptions, user manuals, requirements, user stories, standards and more, as well as interactive inputs. In addition, the current screen information of the system under test (SUA) is incorporated into the generation or adaptation of existing automation cases. This enables exceptional robustness against changes between releases.

Another key strength is its language independence: even when the input is in English, the tool tests the application in various languages, such as English, French, German and more.
