The Association of Austrian Software Innovations (VÖSI) is an alliance of leading IT companies in Austria. Since its founding in 1986, it has united around 50 large and medium-sized companies from the fields of software development and IT services. A strong and healthy software industry is crucial for securing Austria’s economic position and preventing it from merely serving as an extended workbench for more innovative countries. At the end of 2025, the VÖSI AI Map was created, and we are pleased that our use case is also listed on it.
The VÖSI AI Map showcases concrete AI projects and best practices from the business world, providing guidance beyond the general AI hype. It demonstrates the diverse and value-creating applications of AI technologies in companies today and serves as a central reference platform for exchange, networking, and inspiration.

The initiative highlights where AI is already being used productively and practically in Austria and promotes knowledge transfer and collaboration within the local AI ecosystem.
