IT solutions for insurance companies consist of complex, tightly interconnected system landscapes: Customer journeys and sales processes run across multiple applications, web frontends and form systems must interact seamlessly, and policy administration is handled in SAP. End-to-end test automation across this landscape has so far been limited because customization and scripting were too costly. Twinformatics aimed to specifically increase automated test coverage in precisely these “white spots.”
Since 2020, twinformatics has been using Drvless (image/UI recognition and AI). Drvless acts like a human: it recognizes surfaces, navigates through processes, and checks every step – without invasive interfaces and without high programming requirements.
A key use case is the automated end-to-end verification of complete application processes: from the digital capture of insurance requirements and processing in connected systems to posting in SAP. Drvless interacts with all involved applications (web frontend to SAP) and is integrated into the existing Test Automation Factory. Test results are automatically fed back into the central test management system (Jira/Xray). Implementation was carried out jointly with Objentis, including training, workshops, and the development of a server-based version of Drvless.
