The project involved migrating to SAP S/4HANA using the Bluefield approach, with the goal of accelerating business processes and achieving better data integration. Objentis was involved from the second testing phase onward and provided support through knowledge transfer (“twinning”), test execution, and test case refactoring. The focus was on key business areas such as materials management, production, purchasing, and accounting.
Despite the high degree of technical complexity and highly interdependent test cases, the project was successfully implemented using structured methods such as the “3-phase concept.” Objentis’ support contributed significantly to the project’s success.
From the second test phase onward, Objentis was integrated into the project and supported the rapid development of expertise, test execution, and test case refactoring through a “twinning” approach. The focus was on key areas such as materials management, warehousing, and production (pharmaceuticals), as well as purchasing and accounting (cosmetics).
During the third test run, Objentis also provided support in creating audit documentation. Despite the high degree of technical complexity and highly interdependent test cases, the challenges were efficiently overcome thanks to the “twinning” and “three-phase concept” methods, and the project was successfully completed.
